Having helped change the face of dating, Netflix has now bought the rights to a film about dating in a ‘social media obsessed, post-relationship world’.
As the synopses puts it: “the unlikely duo discover how to make it through the tough times in a social media obsessed post-relationship universe.”
According to Deadline, the streaming company has acquired worldwide rights to Jim Strouse’s modern comedy, The Incredible Jessica James.
The film – which will close Sundance Film Festival – stars The Daily show’s Jessica Williams as an aspiring playwright in New York struggling with a relationship ending.
