According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has pulled an episode of medical drama New Amsterdam that centered around a fictional flu pandemic due to the real-life coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, NBC said: “New Amsterdam has an episode that was written some time ago that focuses on a flu epidemic in New York City.
The episode was originally scheduled to air on April 7, but NBC will now air reruns of the series on March 31 and April 7 before the season finale on April 14.
Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist) plays Dr. Max Goodwin, the newest medical director for the fictional New Amsterdam hospital who sets out tear up the bureaucracy and provide exceptional care.
