The second season, entitled Atlanta Robbin’ Season, sees Earn and company struggling more with the law and finances, while still searching to further Paper Boi’s success.
For the upcoming new episode of the hit series Atlanta, FX has chosen to run it completely uninterrupted when it premieres on Thursday, April 5 at 10 PM et/pt on FX.
The series, created, starring and executive produced by Donald Glover, follows a down-on-his-luck dropout Earnest (Glover) who is trying to help provide or his on-again-off-again girlfriend Vanessa (Zazie Beetz) and their infant daughter Lottie by trying to manage his rapper cousin Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) and hanging with his friend Darius (Lakeith Stanfield).
Titled “Teddy Perkins,” the episode will run 41 minutes without commercial interruption and is written by Donald Glover and directed by Hiro Murai, who has directed 10 of the 16 episodes aired thus far.
