Those well-versed in the Harry Potter are familiar with Nicolas Flamel as the alchemist who created the Philosopher’s Stone, or as American audiences know it, the Sorcerer’s Stone.
In the first Harry Potter movie, Voldemort attempted to use the Sorcerer’s Stone to regenerate his body, but he was unsuccessful in doing so, and the Stone was expected to be destroyed after the story’s events.
Although it’s called the Philosopher’s Stone in the Facebook post, presumably to maintain continuity with the Harry Potter films, it will still go by its sorcerous identification, and that’s assuming it’s even mentioned at all.
Along with being able to turn any metal into pure gold, the Stone could also create the Elixir of Life, the substance which Flamel used to greatly extend his lifespan, as well as his wife’s, to six centuries.
