After the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. midseason finale, “The Laws of Inferno Dynamics,” aired last night, it was announced that the six-part digital Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot will “launch” on the ABC Network website and ABC Go app on Tuesday, December 13.
This will bring her into conflict with members of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as “test her abilities.”
Taking place shortly before its parent show’s fourth season, Slingshot will see Yo-Yo going on a personal mission that’s in direct conflict with the Sokovia Accords, the legislation regulating all superhuman individuals in the MCU that was introduced in Captain America: Civil War.
Judging by the announcement using the word “launch,” it sounds like these episodes (which will last between three to six minutes) will be released over time rather than posted all at once.
