Fans should certainly hope that’s the case, anyway, since the only thing Blindspot beat in its timeslot was a repeat of Arrow, with the People’s Choice Awards also reaching ratings lows.
ABC’s Speechless, on the other hand, won out the night in the demographic despite it being slightly lower than last week’s, according to TV By the Numbers.
That’s not necessarily the case here with Blindspot, of course, though there has been a gradual drooping in the ratings in Season 2 that mirrors that of Season 1, only without as sizable of a starting point.
It’s only in the past five or so episodes that the demo rating really starting hovering in the bubble zone, so there could very well be a turnaround as Season 2 ramps up the back half of the narrative arcs.
