The most recent stats from TVBytheNumbers point out that Episode 2, titled “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark,” was watched by 2.38 million people on the night, which is the least-viewed second installment of any AHS season, earning a still-respectable 1.2 demo rating for adults 18-49.
Call it an American delayed viewing story — or don’t, seriously — because American Horror Story: Cult is apparently making just as much progress in the post-Tuesday night timeframe as it is for its live airings.
But after the Live+3 DVR totals were added up, the viewership jumped up to 4.76, doubling the former results, while the rating even skewed a little higher, rising up to a 2.5 for the key demo.
