What was wonderful was [to] be able to see that Nia [DaCosta] and I were both on the same page about Anne-Marie’s history.
She was able to like move up socioeconomically ever so slightly, but beyond what she was doing before.
So I got there and we started talking about what her life was like.
And so it was very collaborative in terms of creating that.
