Paddy McGuinness has poked fun at a tweet sent by Peter Kay’s official account denouncing a new Channel 5 documentary about the comedian.
It continued: “The title gives the impression that Peter has been involved in the making of this documentary, which he hasn’t.
In a tweet that’s since been deleted, McGuinness – who starred with Kay in Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere – replied: “Never mind that.
This year has been a quiet one for Kay, whose last professional appearance was at a screening of his BBC sitcom Car Share in April 2018.
