Painkiller, an eight-episode limited series on the origins of the opioid crisis, has been greenlit at Netflix, Variety has confirmed.
Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Transparent) will write, showrun, and executive produce the series.
