According to Deadline, Paramount Pictures has pushed Johnny Knoxville’s Jackass, the fourth movie based on the MTV stunt-prank reality series, back to July 2, 2021.
Knoxville would return to the series for the well-received 2013 spinoff movie Bad Grandpa, which was also a box office hit and earned an Oscar nomination for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
The movie was originally set to release on March 5, 2021, and will now open against Universal’s Minions: The Rise of Gru.
The new film will also mark the first installment in the franchise since the death of star Ryan Dunn in a car crash in 2011.
