Comedian Pete Davidson revealed that a fan delivered cannabis to his mother’s house during lockdown, despite his previous struggles with drug abuse.
The film also stars Marisa Tomei, Maude Apatow, Bill Burr, Bel Powley and Steve Buscemi and is released on 12 June.
The King of Staten Island follows Scott (Davidson), a cannabis-smoking layabout in his mid-20s who struggles to know what to do with his life.
Following the announcement that the release of his semi-autobiographical film, The King of Staten Island, was moving from cinemas to video-on-demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, Davidson found himself receiving an unexpected gift from a fan.
