Apple and WingNut Films have announced a new Beatles documentary to be helmed by director Peter Jackson.
Like the album, it came out 18 months after the Beatles broke up, and was seen as a chronicling of the band’s demise.
The film will compile footage from their January 1969 studio session that resulted in the album Let It Be.
Jackson, who’s coming off his most recent documentary, They Shall Not Grow Old, has never been shy about his love for the Fab Four.
