Peter Jackson’s WWI documentary acquired by Warner Bros. Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to director Peter Jackson’s WWI documentary They Shall Not Grow Old, according to Deadline.
The documentary combines original footage from Imperial War Museums’ film archive along with audio provided by the BBC archives.
The documentary premiered at the BFI London Film Festival earlier this month, which is where the studio made the deal.
The film is commissioned by 14-18 NOW and Imperial War Museums in association with the BBC and Executive Produced by House Productions.
