The $326 million earned by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales means that The Walt Disney Studios has now crossed $3 billion globally in 2017 to date, with international grosses at $1.903 billion and domestic grosses at $1.102 billion.
Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales grossed a further $55.5 million yesterday ($15.6 million domestically and $39.9 million overseas) to take the global total to $326 million already.
Directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales stars Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites, Kevin R. McNally, Kaya Scodelario, Golshifteh Farahani, Stephen Graham, David Wenham and Geoffrey Rush.
The results were boosted by Dragon Boat Holiday in China (which continues today) as well as a Bank Holiday in the UK.
