Saban and Lionsgate’s marketing campaign for the 2017 Power Rangers movie reboot has steadily unveiled the various re-imagined elements of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers property, as they are depicted in the film.
Power Rangers fans have been able to get a better look at the Zords’ new designs through the photos released of their tie-in toy versions – but now, a poster has been released that shows off the Zords in the actual movie, more fully.
The Rangers’ Zords – colossal-assault vehicles that are modeled after the Rangers’ respective animal “power sources” (the Tyrannosaurus, the Saber-Toothed Tiger and so forth) have been partially glimpsed in certain posters that have been released for the film to date.
We’ve now seen the Rangers’ new costumes, as well as the significantly different look of the villainous Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) and the concept design of the easily-panicked robot, Alpha 5 (voiced by Bill Hader), in the reboot.
