In addition to the Disney film holding its No. 1 spot, Vudu also saw the Gal Gadot-led DC Extended Universe sequel Wonder Woman 1984 maintain its No. 2 rank, though was replaced on FandangoNow by the Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley-starring sci-fi actioner Chaos Walking, which sat in the No. 4 seat on both platforms the prior week and is still situated in the same spot on Vudu.
This week also saw the departure of some titles from both platforms’ top ten lists, including Blumhouse’s Freaky, Disney/Pixar’s Soul, the Anthony Hopkins-led The Father, heist pic The Vault and Eddie Huang’s sports drama Boogie.
In its second week on the digital libraries, Walt Disney Animation’s latest effort Raya and the Last Dragon is continuing to dominate the charts for both Vudu and FandangoNow as it sits as the number one title, in terms of revenue, for both platforms amongst customers.
The sole new release for the week to land a top ten spot was City of Lies, the Johnny Depp and Forest Whitaker-starring drama about the investigations into the deaths of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. in Los Angeles.
