Carlyle, who plays hardman Franco Begbie in 1996’s Trainspotting, as well as its soon-to-be-released sequel T2 Trainspotting, was speaking to reporters before T2’s premiere in Edinburgh.
Robert Carlyle has suggested a third Trainspotting film may be on the way after saying he’s been “talking about that” with producers.
“And maybe that sets up another film in fact, because Irvine Welsh has written The Blade Artist.”
Carlyle said: “[T2] is the first time you see maybe there is another side to this guy …
