Zelda already has some screen credits to her name thanks to her short film Shrimp, which focused on “the world of sadomasochism and professional dominatrixes in Los Angeles.”
Deadline reports that the late Robin Wiliams’ daughter, Zelda Williams, will make her directorial debut with the film AMA (Ask Me Anything), from a 2018 Blacklist script written by John Wikstrom.
Distributor Gunpowder and Sky have agreed to develop a half-hour TV series based on the short film with Williams set to write, produce, direct and star.
“For me, this project encompasses so many of my cinematic loves and I can’t think of a more timely moment for it.”
