In roughly a month and a half, the first Star Wars spin-off, Rogue One, will hit theaters, and it’s already expected to be much different than any other Star Wars movie we’ve seen before.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016, going up against Warner Bros.’
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
The Hollywood Reporter speculates that the director’s comment about how Rogue One doesn’t take “the same path” could be construed as a hint about how dark Rogue One is.
