The show already received a trilogy of released films: 1998’s The Rugrats Movie, 2000’s Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, and 2003’s The Wild Thornberrys crossover, Rugrats Go Wild.
If Rugrats does return, it will likely take the same form as the rest of its 90s revivals and arrive as a TV movie.

He was then queried as to Rugrats’ chances of making a return to the network; to which he answered, “What’s happening with [Legends of the Hidden Temple] is that it’s allowing Nickelodeon to look at the rich library they have, and not just Rugrats.
