“You know, this city has changed – that was 20 years ago this June – this city has changed an enormous amount politically and economically and socially and I think it would be a different show, honestly.”
Sarah Jessica Parker has admitted Sex and the City would have been a “different” show today.
The actor explained how New York City has changed “an enormous amount politically and economically and socially” since the show began almost 20 years ago, something that would inevitably affect the show.
Speaking about Sex and the City, Parker said according to Metro: “There were no women of colour, and there was no substantial conversation about the LGBTQ community.”
