Production for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is currently being prepped in Los Angeles for Sony Pictures and the film is slated for release on August 9, 2019.
Scoot McNairy, known for roles in the 2012 neo-noir Killing Them Softly and AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire, has signed on to join the massive ensemble cast for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming true-crime drama, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, according to Deadline.
McNairy is set to play a cowboy named Business Bob Gilbert, a character in a western TV series from the time period the film is set in.
The movie is said to be similar to a “Pulp Fiction-like tapestry” that covers a group of characters during that summer.
