Former Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon has bigger things on her mind than the Sarah Jessica Parker-Kim Cattrall feud: she’s running for governor of New York.
As a candidate, the New York City icon will face one simple question from New Yorkers that can make or break her campaign: can she actually fix the trains?
“We have to be more than the anti-Trump party,” she said at the annual Human Rights Campaign Greater New York gala in February.
Nixon got more involved with political activism as the show wound down and heavily campaigned for New York mayor Bill de Blasio in 2013 and has been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ rights.
