While originally slated for a March 2018 release date, the film was moved up to February 2018 about a year ago, but now according to Bloody Disgusting, Fox is pushing the release date of The Predator back from February 2018 to August 2018.
Fast-forward 30 years later, and Black is hired as the co-writer and director of the newest film in the franchise, The Predator.
Of course, the biggest time for a film release – especially for a potential blockbuster like The Predator – is the summer, and August is not a bad place to be.
After an uncredited role in 1986, Black made his official big screen debut as Hawkins opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Dutch in director John McTiernan’s 1987 alien hunter classic Predator.
