Outside of the comics, Shazam’s other appearances include his own live action TV series from the 1970s, Justice League Unlimited, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Young Justice, Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam, Justice League: War, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis and Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Shazam will introduce the DCEU’s Billy Batson, who, like his comic book counterpart, can transform into an adult superhero when he says the word “Shazam.”
Beyond those basic elements, no official Shazam plot details have been disclosed.
Once in his Shazam form (the hero was known as Captain Marvel before the New 52 relaunch), Billy boasts abilities represented by mythological figures: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury.
