Variety is reporting that Sony Pictures Television is developing a Silk live-action Marvel series with Good Trouble and Atypical writer Lauren Moon, who is Korean-American just like the Spider-Man universe character, in talks to write.
In 2018, Sony announced they were developing a Silk movie as a Spider-Man spinoff following the success of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Earlier this year Sony also announced that it was working on a secret female-centric Marvel movie with director S.J. Clarkson (Collateral).
Phil Lord and Chris Miller will executive produce the series through their Lord Miller production banner alongside former Sony Pictures Entertainment head Amy Pascal.
