For decades, Isaac Asimov‘s Foundation series has been trying to make its way to the screen in one form or another.
Now, Deadline brings word that Skydance is looking to develop the iconic science fiction saga for television with David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman.
The books originally formed a trilogy (which also includes Foundation and Empire and Second Foundation), but Asimov wound up completing seven Foundation books before his passing in 1992.
Skydance Television, meanwhile, continues to produce the Netflix hit Grace and Frankie, starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.
