While American audiences are still waiting to watch the series adaptation of the Anthony Horowitz novel character, Sony Pictures Television and Eleventh Hour Films are already preparing a second season of Alex Rider, according to Deadline.
Horowitz acts as executive producer on the adaptation alongside Eleventh Hour CEO Jill Green, Eve Gutierrez, Burt and Andreas Prochaska, with the latter also having co-directed the eight-episode first season alongside Christopher Smith.
The series has yet to air in the US, with Sony reporting that they are close to finding a home for it in the states, Australia and China.
The White Queen and Strike Back: Vendetta star Otta Farrant leads the cast as Rider.
