Sony in Talks for ‘Slender Man’ Horror Movie

Producers are Mythology Entertainment’s Bradley Fischer, James Vanderbilt and William Sherak; Robyn Meisinger of Madhouse Entertainment; and Sarah Snow of It Is No Dream Entertainment. Mythology’s exec VP Tracey Nyberg, will executive produce along with It Is No Dream’s Louis Sallerson, and Madhouse’s Adam Kolbrenner and Ryan Cunningham.

Exclusive worldwide rights to the intellectual property “Slender Man” have been acquired by Mythology Entertainment in partnership with Madhouse Entertainment and It Is No Dream Entertainment for all platforms including motion picture, television, video games, publishing and more.

Sony’s Screens Gems — which specializes in genre fare — is in negotiations to partner with Mythology, Madhouse, and It Is No Dream to produce and distribute a feature film and is targeting a fall production start.
