Spawn 2 Will Make A Lot Of Changes From The Original, According to The Film's Writer

Apparently we should ignore everything from the original Spawn from 1997, because Spawn 2 will take the franchise in a very different direction.

And it’s not gonna be a continuation, it’s not gonna be a sequel, it’s not gonna be any of that.

Instead we will be treated to a movie that feels as realistic as possible — with the exception of Spawn himself.
