Despite being thrown down a rubbish compactor during Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Captain Phasma will return for the eighth instalment in the saga, The Last Jedi.
Last month, fans were treated to some behind the scenes footage of The Last Jedi, showcasing some of the weird and wonderful creatures we can expect to see this December when the film finally reaches cinemas.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actor teased a “deeper” story that will explore the new relationships seen in Episode VII.
“What I can tell you about the next Star Wars film is I think Rian does an exceptional job of going deeper, of going further, and really exploring what these relationships are.”
