In a recent interview with Swedish news site Dagens Nyheter, Star Wars: Andor star Stellan Skarsgård has teased an interesting new detail about the upcoming Disney+ series ahead of its long-awaited debut later this year.
When asked about the potential release of the Andor Season 2, Skarsgård stated “I do not know when they will start broadcasting it.
While talking about his filming schedule for this year, the acclaimed actor confirmed that he is currently slated to start production on the not-yet-announced second season of Star Wars: Andor in the autumn of this year after completing his work on Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two.
The new Star Wars prequel series will also star franchise alums Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Alan Tudyk as Cassian’s droid sidekick K-2SO, who reportedly won’t appear in the first season.
