It’s also worth noting the dip in viewers for Supergirl following its move to The CW, which brought in 12.96 million total viewers with its pilot episode premiere and 6.11 million with its season finale; though the threshold for success is different on CBS and The CW.
The series premiere of Supergirl fell just short of The Flash‘s Season 3 premiere ratings, which brought in 3.2 million total viewers, but exceeded the ratings of Arrow‘s fifth season premiere, which brought in just 1.9 million total viewers.
Following the move from CBS to The CW for its second season, Supergirl is already breaking records for the network.
