To compare to the recent premieres of other DC TV shows on The CW, The Flash‘s season 3 premiere episode “Flashpoint” attracted 3.1 million viewers during its initial broadcast, whereas the Arrow season 5 premiere episode “Legacy” brought in 1.9 million viewers.
The Supergirl season 2 premiere, entitled ‘The Adventures of Supergirl’, does contain a few in-show references to the series’ change in networks.
Per The Wrap, the Supergirl season 2 premiere attracted 3.02 million total viewers and achieved a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
All four of the DC comic book TV show adaptations co-created by Greg Berlanti – Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl – now call The CW their home, with Supergirl having moved to the network after its freshman season aired on CBS instead.
