The U.S. National Film Registry has added a new crop of films to its exalted ranks, including Superman, Titanic, Die Hard, and more.
The films chosen to enter the National Film Registry are those the NFPB have deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.”
The films selected to enter the National Film Registry this year are set to join a roster full of iconic classics, including 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Godfather, The Exorcist, and Star Wars.
Appropriately, it is also the first comic book-based film to enter the National Film Registry.
