The WWII satire will debut in theaters alongside Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, WB’s Torrance, Lionsgate’s A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, and Universal/Blumhouse’s The Hunt.
Fox Searchlight has announced that Taika Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit will be released in theaters on October 18.
Waititi brings his signature style of humor and pathos to a World War II satire.
In Jojo Rabbit, the story follows an awkward young German boy (Roman Griffin) raised by a single mother (Scarlett Johansson), and whose only ally is his imaginary friend Hitler (Waititi).
