This weekend, a new music vid for Manchester Orchestra’s “The Sunshine” hit the web, and it’s just as weirdly sweet and sweetly weird as can be expected from its directors, the Daniels of Swiss Army Man.
It’s the kind of thing that makes you a little uncanny valley uncomfortable but is also really cute, which, if you’ve seen Swiss Army Man, is pretty much classic Daniels.
Every now and then, another band hires a well-known film director to make a music video for them.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s are probably the most well-known, since he’s done videos for Fiona Apple, Radiohead, and now HAIM.
