The Texas Chainsaw Massacre clip from Netflix’s forthcoming sequel to Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic has been released, which features an introduction from director David Blue Garcia.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is directed by David Blue Garcia (Tejano) from a screenplay written by Chris Thomas Devlin (Cobweb), based on a story by Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues.
The character will now be played by Olwen Fouéré (Mandy), following Burns’ death in 2014 at the age of 65.
Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre serves as a continuation of Tobe Hooper and Kim Henkel’s 1974 seminal horror classic, reintroducing one of the most iconic villains of the horror genre to a whole new generation.
