Netflix has curated a collection of films, TV series and stand-up specials under the banner of “Black Lives Matter”.
The streaming service’s official Twitter account wrote: “When we say, ‘Black Lives Matter’, we also mean, ‘Black storytelling matters’.
The films in the collection include Ava DuVernay’s widely praised documentary about the US prison complex, 13th, Dee Rees’s period drama Mudbound, and Orange is the New Black.
The move comes amid global anti-racism protests following the killing of Minneapolis man George Floyd while in custody of police officers.
