Bachelor Nation is at its own form of crossroads at the moment.
Last season of The Bachelor was the first to feature a black male lead in Matt James, but it ultimately became overshadowed by the racial controversy of one of its female contestants taking place while the show was still airing.
It remains to be seen if ABC will implement more changes in the future when it comes to an LGBTQ season of the franchise.
Chris Harrison also faced ire for his handling of the controversy, prompting his exit (at least for now) and former contestants Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe stepping in as hosts for The Bachelorette.
