The CW has already announced the renewals of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and eight other series on the network.
The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8pm on The CW, Arrow in the same timeslot on Wednesdays, and Legends of Tomorrow on Thursdays.
The CW launched its DC Comics shared universe in 2012 with the premiere of Arrow, which later introduced the Central City forensic scientist Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) before the character was spun off into his own series, The Flash.
With the addition of Supergirl, The CW now has four series based on DC Comics superheroes, and additional comic book-based series in midseason replacements iZombie and Riverdale.
