The showrunner of a TV sequel to horror film The Exorcist has spoken out candidly against those who criticised a gay kiss recently featured in the series.
The Exorcist has scored positive reviews since its first season – which starred Beetlejuice actor Geena Davis – debuted in 2016.
“This is 2017 and we still have people throwing temper tantrums online because they don’t want to see gay characters.
I’m glad you didn’t like it, I’m glad it ruined the show for you.
