The writer/director of the acclaimed 2015 indie film Dope and, most recently, the HBO TV movie docudrama Confirmation has a vision for The Flash movie.
Deadline is reporting that Rick Famuyiwa is now set to direct The Flash for its March 2018 release date.
Seth Grahame-Smith, the author/screenwriter of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, was previously set to direct the DCEU Flash solo movie from his own script, but ended up dropping out as director over creative differences.
Meanwhile, after they appear in Snyder’s Justice League Part One in November of next year, both Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ezra Miller as The Flash will be headlining their own solo DCEU films in 2018.
