  • The Freak Brothers is written and produced by Dave Krinsk and John Althschuler along with Daniel Lehrer and Jeremy Lehrer of Highly Gifted.

  • The series is a co-production by Starburns Industries (Rick and Morty) and Pure Imagination Studios (The Simpsons), who are in-charged of the animation.

  • Based on Gilbert Shelton’s underground comic series titled The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers which ran from 1971-1997, the series is set in 1969 where life in San Francisco consists of free love, communal living and political protest.
