Anyway, on with business: batter week called for 24 filled savoury Yorkshires in the signature, followed by 12 identical lace pancakes in the technical.
So forgive me if this recap seems a bit emotionally charged in what I’ve decided is the start of Mel and Sue’s Bake Off swansong.
I bet that’s exactly what judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood felt like doing after this tumultuous seven days in real-world Bake Off Land.
