Knocking Bohemian Rhapsody off the top of the UK box office after its two-week reign is The Grinch, the latest from Despicable Me animation house Illumination Entertainment.
The UK total for the film (released as The Grinch) was £15.2m – just over half the box office you might expect going purely by the American number.
Despite losing its position at the top of the UK chart, Bohemian Rhapsody came in a close second with third-weekend takings of £4.56m.
The 2000 live-action film starring Jim Carrey grossed $260m in North America and $85m from the rest of the world.
