It’s now been revealed that there was the perfect opportunity for Oasis to play a part in Trainspotting’s success, as director Danny Boyle actually wanted to use an Oasis song in the hit film.
Released in 1996, Trainspotting hit cinemas at a time when Great Britain was beginning to find its swagger again.
