The most recent version of Hitchhiker’s Guide was the big-budget movie version, starring Martin Freeman as Earth’s sole survivor, Arthur Dent, in 2005.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Hulu is working on a new television adaptation of the beloved British radio series turned novels by Douglas Adams.
The show comes from Disney’s ABC Signature, the division of ABC Studios that focuses on development for cable and streaming outlets.
The BBC previously adapted Adams’s work for TV back in the early 1980s.
