In its second weekend, Lionsgate’s A Simple Favor moved up from third place to second place at the domestic box office. The film’s weekend total fell just 34%, bringing in $10.5 million and giving it a domestic total of $32.66 million.
The hard-R actioner brought in another $9 million giving it a domestic total of $40.7 million.
Internationally The House with a Clock in Its Walls opened in just14 markets this weekend, including Germany and Brazil, for an early total of $3.1 million.
Internationally the film added another $35.4 million in a total of 80 overseas markets giving it an international total of $191.7 million and a global total of $292.6 million.
